Naphthol is an extensive chemical dyeing process. Contrary to all the dyeing processes, naphthol is done in ice water. Typically done on cotton and rayon its dyeing process calls for mixing two components, Naphthol, and diazo salt to achieve the primary color. The final color, however, is determined by the dye particles stuck to the fabric. The prints display classic Indian traditional motifs fused with geometrical elements.
